How do i buy a gift voucher?

service agreement for adults and Minors?
All participants will need sign an electronic service agreement upon arriving to participate in any activity at Escapades! Any person under the age of 14 must have a parent, guardian, or adult sign the service agreement for them. If a group of kids are brought to play the adult bringing them will sign if a parent is unavailable. Otherwise you may click the On Line Wavier and sign ahead of time for yourself or minors! You MUST have the persons name who booked the outing in order to find your appointment to sign the wavier!

redeeming tickets
If you have used tickets to book an appointment, you MUST bring the tickets to your appointment. Any tickets not provided when you check in cannot be applied and you will be required to pay for your tickets before you can play.
can i have exclusivity for just my team to play?
The answer is yes. Each room as a minimum ticket requirement to be guaranteed it is just your team. If you do not meet that minimum, then you can simply purchase exclusivity for one fee for $50.00 for your team at checkout.
can i reserve tickets without paying for them?
The answer is no. Unfortunately you are not able to reserve tickets without full payment. If there will be a large group of players who all want to pay separately, then each person will have to call to make payment for their ticket! Or one person can pay and collect the money back from everyone else.
can i purchase gift vouchers or tickets for a gift?
You can stop into our store and purchase actual tickets for a gift! Or you can purchase a gift voucher online here!
what happens if i book and do not show up for my scheduled activity?
If you are a no call no show there is no refund or credit provided. If you cannot attend your booked activity, you must call at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled time to reschedule and a rebooking fee will apply. If you call at least 48 hours prior to your booking you may simply reschedule to a different time. Same day of your booking we are not able to reschedule your booking or offer any refunds.
What is an escape Room?
Any escape game is a room, or series of rooms, filled with various types of puzzles that usually tell some form of a story. Most give you 60 minutes to attempt to finish the room, often with the final goal being to get out of the room, but not always.
What is the minimum number of tickets i must purchase?
In order for Escapades to run an escape room you must have at least $90 per booking so if you have just 1 child and 1 adult, the ticket pricing will automatically adjust.
what happens if i miss my scheduled booking?
If you miss your scheduled booking there is no refund and you are not able to reschedule. There are only a certain number of tickets available per room per day/hour. Once you purchase those no one else can do so, therefore all sales are final and players that do not show up do not get a refund.
can i reschedule my scheduled booking?
You may reschedule a booking by calling our office and we must have at least a 48 hour notice, and a $35 rebooking fee will apply. Otherwise you may reschedule several days or weeks before your booking time without any additional fees. To reschedule please call 605-777-9401.
how can i book the entire room and not play with strangers?
Here at Escapades Escape Rooms our goal is for you to have the best possible experience! We will offer you a room to just your group with an exclusivity fee of just $50.00 for your entire group plus the cost of one ticket per person playing. For help making your booking please call (605) 777-9401.

who plays escape games?
Everyone and anyone!
Is there an age limit?
Our games are designed with a certain difficulty level focused on adult IQ. However, players ages 8 and up are welcome, and if the group has children under the age of 14 and at least one adult is required to play to offer them assistance. If there is a group of all children we can modify our rooms to make them suitable for kids ages 5-11.
DO KIDS have fun?
Yes! We have had children as young as 7 can successfully help and play with their families and are able to contribute in finding clues and solving puzzles! under the age of 7 is permitted to 5 years old. Children under the age of 5 may not be permitted in certain rooms but you can add a ticket if you want to bring them. So please call for more information. (605) 777-9401
How many rooms do you have?
We have 9+ rooms in total and a couple of Escape Games. Join our mailing list or like the Escapades Facebook page to keep up to date on new room themes and their arrival dates!
what is the difference between an escape room and escape game?
Our escape rooms are designed each in their own space complete with decor etc. An Escape game is like a very elaborate board game. While it does not have it's own room, you can book and play this game at our location in our board room at our conference table. Escape Games can also be rented to be brought on-site to your company, school or event!
Can i play each room more than once?
In general it would not be as much fun to replay a room, we would recommend trying one of our other rooms. However our tougher rooms you may find that you have lots left to do when time runs out if you do not have much experience, and might want to re-book for another time. Should the need arise for you to replay a room with friends or family that is fine, but the group will be ineligible for the leader board.
Can i purchase gift certificates?
We have gift certificates available in any quantity you would like! You can purchase a gift voucher online and will receive the gift certificate in your email and can print it out. Or you may stop into our store and purchase the certificates. We have nicer cards and envelopes if you intend to give it as a gift! If you purchase online you can still stop and pickup the card and envelope if you like. We are located on the NW Corner of 41st & Western Ave in Sioux Falls. You can purchase a GIFT VOUCHER HERE!
CAN I HOST A BIRTHDAY OR OTHER PARTY AT YOUR FACILITY?
Yes, we have a small party/conference room available for rent that will seat roughly 12-14 people at the Western Ave location, and can host 50-70 at the Norton Ave location . You can host a party before or after your escape experience. We charge a minimum of $85/hour for the space rental. Please call for availability (605) 777-9401.
can we bring food and drinks?
Yes and No. 1 hour flies by when you are playing the escape rooms. You really have little time to do anything other than solve puzzles. Food is permitted in the party room but not in the actual escape rooms. You can however, bring in drinks into the rooms. This can be soda, beer, etc. Escapades does not sell alcoholic beverages at the Western location, but do provide drinks at the Norton Ave location. Also, we have found that there is really not time to enjoy your beverages because time flies, so we encourage you to engage in those beverages afterwards!
What if my party shows up intoxicated?
Drunkenness: In the event that anyone in your party participating in the escape room is found to be under the influence of alcohol and is acting in a dangerous or disorderly fashion, inappropriate, belligerent, or disrespectful in any way, it is the right of the Escapades staff to discontinue the room operation and ask the person(s) or your entire group to leave. Any such action will not entitle anyone to any sort of refund, rain check or reimbursement of any kind.
Do i need to book my adventure in advance?
Yes, you are not able to reserve a time slot without going through the booking process, and payment is due at the the time of booking. If you want to book sooner than 1 hour from now, you cannot book online, instead you must call (605) 777-9401.
How do i reserve?
All reservations are made online with credit card or debit card. If you do not have that form of payment available to you, you can stop into our office with cash during regular business hours M-F 8am-4:30pm, and our staff can book your room on the spot for any open times. All payments for activities are considered donations and help fund the Foundation and it’s charitable works.
Do you offer a refund if we cannot make our time reserved?
Unfortunately all bookings are final, and there are no refunds. If you know at least 24-48 hours in advance that you cannot make it and let us know at that time, we can reschedule you for another open time, and a rebooking fee may apply. However this option is for rescheduling only and no refunds will be given.
What if i arrive late for my start time?
Because the rooms are booked on a set schedule, anyone arriving more than 5 minutes past the scheduled start time, may find that their times has already begun. If your arrive is more than 20 minutes late you may not be allowed to start and there will be no refund available.
Am i really locked in a room?
Yes and no. Each room while locked is closely monitored and if there are any issues you will be let out. Also, each room has an emergency exit plan that you will be instructed on when you arrive to play the room. At any time, you can leave the room if you decide to do so.
Where are the escape games located?
We have 2 locations in Sioux Falls on the NW corner of 41st & Western Ave. and 41st and Norton Ave.
How long is the game?
Escapades escape games are designed to provide brain squeezing fun for 1 hour. The actual time spent largely depends on the participants and their wits! There is also 3-4 minutes spent before each game starts to explain a few pointers etc., get service agreement signed and go over rules. Then participants will watch a small video at the start of their game to reveal the story of the room. After each game also plan to spend a few minutes getting debriefed on any puzzles you may have missed, and having your questions answered, taking a group photo!
Who can book the birthday parties?
Birthday party packages are based on children’s tickets prices. Therefore the birthday party packages are for kids ages 7-13. Any players over that age will be charged an additional fee per ticket. Generally kids 14 and over do not have a full birthday party package, rather they come and play an escape room and have other plans.
What about large parties or group events?
We love hosting group events! We have a large banquet facility, drinks, catering options, axes, escape rooms and smash rooms! We are sure to have something for everyone in your group! Members, please call us to customize your next event! 605.777.9401.
Why should i play the escapades escape rooms?
Our design team consists of an escape room enthusiast who has played games all over the country and brings that experience to our game designs. We also have an electro-mechanical engineer on our team who will design and build robotics, touch screens and other elements in our future games that will create a WOW factor not found in other escape room designs in our areas.
how do i pay?
All booking are considered donation to the Hand Up Foundation Church Ministry. For your Contribution [donation to the Foundation] you gain a membership to our private association. When a living man or woman creates an appointment they agree to the service agreement at the bottom of this page and receive the membership benefits of the Private Membership Association the “PMA”).

How much does it cost?

How old do you have to be to smash?
You must be 14 years old or older to participate in an Escapades Smash Room Experience without a parent present. However, children ages 8-13 who are accompanied by a participating legal parent or guardian may also participate in the Smash activities. We require a ratio of one adult for every two under aged children.
Who participates in smash rooms?
Anyone who can swing a hammer or bat! This is a fun, adrenaline filled experience great of stress relief, special occasion celebrations or just some good old fashioned fun! We do not promote this activity for anger management, or in place of mental health counseling.
what if my kids want to smash but i do not?
Any smashers under the age of 14 must be accompanied into the smash room by a parent or guardian. If the parent does not want to smash a Chaperone ticket may be added on during the checkout process for just $15.00. This is the fee to rent the safety gear needed to enter the smash rooms to supervise your children.
How long do i get to smash items?
Most smashes take 15-30 minutes depending on how many people they book with and how many items they each have! But don’t worry, you will have time to bust everything and people are fully satisfied with the amount of time given.
do i need a reservation or can i just walk in?
Yes make an appointment! Generally we recommend calling at least 2 hours prior to the time you would like to smash. We do not staff our smash rooms unless we have an appointment. Rarely can we accept walk ins.
What KIND OF SHOES do i need to wear?
All participants must wear closed-toe-shoes. We also recommend you wear shoes you do not love because they could get glass or debris stuck into the soles!
What KIND OF protective gear do i need?
We will provide you with all the safety gear such as face masks, gloves and overalls if you do not bring your own! If you have your own protective gear we do recommend you bring your own for comfort. Also we recommend that you wear light clothing such as a t-shirt because it can get warm with the overall suit!
Can I bring my own stuff to smash?
No! For your safety, all smashables are required to be inspected and approved by an Escapades Smash Room staff member and that takes time to do so. We ,make sure that no hazardous materials, liquids, flammable, ammunition, weapons or firearms, food items, and anything deemed to be unsafe is packed in your bins. Therefore we do not allow members to bring their own items.
Can I buy more items to smash if i want while i am there?
Yes and no. If there is not another group directly after yours you may have the option to buy another bin of items or choose a few items from the forbidden wall!
Can I bring my own camera to take photos or video?
Escapades Smash Rooms does not want to be responsible for any lost or damaged personal items, but will allow you to bring in a cell phone or camera at your own risk if you wish to take photos or video!
Can I be under the influence of drugs and alcohol?
For your safety and the safety of others, we require all patrons to be sober and not be under the influence of any drugs, alcohol, or prescription drugs while participating in the Smash Rooms. However we invite you to enjoy an ice cold beverage in our lounge area after your smashing experience!
I’m pregnant, can I participate?
We get it… pregnancy is a super stressful thing! However we urge our pregnant participants to use caution for your baby’s safety and yours! So this decision is up to you, and we are not liable for your decisions. Our Baby Reveal packages are a fun for you and your significant other!
What happens to all the smashed stuff?
We recycle as much as we can! Some will be brought back to life as a new smashables, while others will be properly recycled and disposed of.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
We do not offer refunds for cancellations or no-shows. Due to the preparation it takes to make sure each memeber has an epic experience; we ask that you please reschedule at least 48 hours before the beginning of your appointment, or you will be charged a rebooking fee. And don’t be late! If you are late, your time slot may be given away and we cannot guarantee our next available time slot to you.
Can I donate some stuff?
Of course! Donations are an integral part of the services we provide. We take donations of 10 items or more. However some items we do not take such as large pieces of furniture, TV’s, most large appliances, etc. If you smashable items you want to get rid of please call us to get more information 605-777-9401.
What is Hand Up Foundation?
Escapades is proud to be a Christian organization working to spread the light of Jesus in all the encounters we have with members and workers. We would love to be a light to you and will offer prayer to anyone who asks! Our humanitarian efforts span internationally as our private ministry works with groups around the globe.
how do i get into the pma?
Purchasing a ticket to one of the activities gains you access and a membership to our location for the day. You may bring guests that are not participating who can wait in the lobby at either location. Your ticket is only good for a the single activity. A ticket is required for each activity you intend to participate in. Thank you for your membership and contribution to the Foundation.

MEMBERSHIP & SERVICE AGREEMENT
RELATIONSHIP: PMA Ministry and the MEMBER [customer]. The MEMBER agrees that they are entering this Agreement and Contract as a living man/woman and that his/her name of the MEMBER on this Agreement, Contract or Booking does not represent a corporation or person.
DURATION: This Membership Agreement and Contract may be terminated at any time by the MEMBER’s cancellation of the appointment within the cancellation time frame if one wishes to receive a credit, demise, cancellation or removal by the Ministry for cause, or at the conclusion of the booking or service completion end of day.
GIFT TYPE: The MEMBER understands that all monies gifted will be in lawful money for credit on account. Under no consideration shall it be interpreted that Federal Reserve Notes “FRN’s” are able to replace the Coinage Act of 1873 for lawful money; however, MEMBER agrees that in the event that FRN’s are the transmitting utility, that the Collective Entity Doctrine does NOT apply. $1.00 from each ticket purchases the day membership.
TERMS OF SERVICE: The MEMBER is bound by the PMA Ministry Terms of Service and acknowledges he / she has read and agrees to abide by the Terms of Service located on service agreement which may change from time to time.
MEMBERSHIP PERKS: MEMBER’s receive a $5.00 off per participant for any additional tickets purchased in the same day after the first booking each day. MEMBER’s can rent banquet or party spaces for any reason, as long as space is available. MEMBER may receive private invitations to special speakers, bible studies, events, and other such ministry opportunities.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION: The Ministry and The MEMBER commit to first seek dispute resolution through individual discussions with the Executive Director or person involved in the dispute, and then if necessary, through a Prayer Board. Should outside dispute resolution between the Ministry and the MEMBER become necessary, the Ministry and the MEMBER agree to both commit to seek a biblical Matthew 18 private dispute resolution.
NO CONFLICT: Neither the MEMBER nor the Ministry has any agreement, relationship, or commitment to any other person or entity that conflicts with the MEMBER’s obligations to the Ministry or the Ministry’s obligations to the MEMBER under this Agreement and Contract.
NECESSARY ACTS, FURTHER ASSURANCES: The parties shall, at their own cost and expense, execute and deliver such further documents and instruments and shall take such other actions as may be reasonably required or appropriate to evidence or carry out the intent and purposes of this Agreement and Contract.
APPLICABLE LAW: This Agreement and Contract and any dispute arising from the relationship between the parties to this Agreement and Contract, shall be governed by, construed under, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the state of South Dakota and/or the STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA, at the discretion of the Ministry.
JURISDICTION: Jurisdiction for any dispute arising from the relationship between the parties to this Agreement and Contract shall be common law on the Republic for South Dakota and/or the STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA at the discretion of the Ministry.
ENFORCEABILITY: This Agreement and Contract shall be binding upon, and enforceable by and against, the parties and their respective successors, assigns, and legal representatives in accordance with its terms.
ASSIGNMENT: This Agreement and Contract may not be assigned by either party without the written consent of the other; provided, however, that the Ministry may assign its rights and delegate its duties under this Agreement and Contract without the MEMBER’s consent to a successor by sale, merger, restructuring, reorganization, or liquidation, if such successor carries on the Ministry’s Ministry substantially in the form in which it is being conducted at the time of the sale, merger, restructuring, reorganization, or liquidation.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT AND CONTRACT: This Agreement and Contract constitutes the final, complete, and exclusive statement of the terms of the agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous understandings or agreements of the parties. No party has been induced to enter into this Agreement and Contract by, nor is any party relying on, any representation or warranty outside those expressly set forth in this Agreement and Contract.
MODIFICATION OF AGREEMENT AND CONTRACT: This Agreement and Contract may be supplemented, amended, or modified only by the mutual agreement of the parties. No supplement, amendment, or modification of this Agreement and Contract shall be binding unless it is in writing and signed by both parties. No provisions in either party's correspondence or other Ministry forms used by either party shall supersede or add to the terms and conditions of this Agreement and Contract.
WAIVER: No waiver of a breach, failure of any condition, or any right or remedy contained in or granted by the provisions of this Agreement and Contract shall be effective unless it is in writing and signed by the party waiving the breach, failure, right, or remedy. No waiver of any breach, failure, right, or remedy shall be deemed a waiver of any other breach, failure, right, or remedy, whether or not similar, nor shall any waiver constitute a continuing waiver unless the writing so specifies.
COMMUNICATIONS-NOTICES: Any notice, approval, or other communication required or permitted under this Agreement and Contract shall be given in writing in the English language and shall be given to the appropriate party by personal delivery, by email, phone call, by certified mail (postage prepaid), or by overnight delivery by the Ministry. Any notice given by the Ministry shall not be binding unless signed by a duly authorized official of that party. Notice shall be also delivered to member regarding all booking dates and times to serve as reminders.
SEVERABILITY: If a court or an arbitrator of competent jurisdiction holds any provision of this Agreement and Contract to be illegal, unenforceable, or invalid in whole or in part for any reason, the validity and enforce-ability of the remaining provisions, or portions of them, will not be affected.
HEADINGS: The heading titles in this Agreement and Contract are included for convenience only and shall neither affect the construction or interpretation of any provision in this Agreement and Contract nor affect any of the rights or obligations of the parties to this Agreement and Contract.
COMPLETION OF ANY CONTRACT OR AGREEMENT: All bookings will be completed by Hand Up Foundation in a timely fashion upon receipt of completed donations and necessary information for completion of such bookings, contracts or agreements. The member is responsible, upon receipt of such documents, for their completion.
